An Evening of Latin American Song with Community Music Center’s Latin Vocal Workshop
The Latin Vocal Workshop is a Community Music Center ensemble that sings Latin American boleros, ballads, rancheras, folk songs, Cuban son and trova, and villancicos. They are directed by Martha Rodríguez-Salazar and accompanied by Jennifer Peringer. Community Music Center is a non-profit music school and performance space that has been making music education accessible in the Mission District and beyond since 1921.
