Award-winning jazz vocalist Jamie Zee returns to celebrate the release of her self-titled EP. Inspired by life as a non-binary, Chinese-American child of San Francisco, Zee has spent the past five years meticulously documenting her life through song and performance to bring together her debut collection of original works.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Premiering vocalist and winner of Jazz Search West 2017, Jamie Zee is one of the Bay Area’s most sought-out composers. This upcoming artist’s style is evocative, alluring, soulful, and innovative. Zee performs an array of compositions and arrangements of originals, as well as the classics of funk, soul, jazz, reggae, and Afro-Cuban jazz. Audiences enjoy the blend of cultures she brings from all around the Bay Area. Her style is distinctively San Franciscan and embodies the life of a non-binary, Asian-American child of San Francisco.
