This dynamic modern jazz piano trio performs primarily original music by pianist/bandleader Miro Sprague, as well as interpretations of jazz standards. Sprague’s music is lyrical and engaging, and the intimate trio setting provides the perfect avenue for inspired group interaction and improvisation.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Miro Sprague is a jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader known for his dynamic performance style, inspiring creativity and artistic versatility. Based in Los Angeles, he maintains a busy national and international touring career, performing with many renowned artists including Karrin Allyson, Matt Wilson, Dominique Eade, Jerry Bergonzi, Ingrid Jensen, and Greg Osby among others. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance at UCLA, Sprague was mentored by Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter. He has released four albums as a bandleader and has been featured on countless others as a sideman.
