Free Dive is a unique quintet that has been performing and recording together since 2003. In Free Dive all of the band members contribute original compositions and collaborate on arrangements. The absence of a chordal instrument allows for an open musical environment and produces a compelling sound.
Because of the broad musical backgrounds of all the band members, Free Dive explores many different musical styles including Jazz, popular song, Latin American and African influenced musics and incorporates and encourages improvisation.
