Bamdad Ensemble (bâmdâd meaning “dawn”) is orchestrated based on Iranian traditional instruments with an aim to promote and introduce Iranian classical music. Beside this goal, Bamdad also pays special attention to the diverse folk music of Iran practiced in its vast landscape, as well as the rich melodies of Khorasan and Kurdistan.
