Born and raised in California, Rebecca Mimiaga has been performing her own music since age 16, fronting various rock, folk and blues projects. She completed her BFA in Vocal Performance Studies at the New School For Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. Her music and debut EP, Words in the Dark, feature strong, intimate vocals set to piano and orchestral arrangements.
