Since then, he has been a longtime member of both the Marcus Shelby Jazz Orchestra and Brass Monkey Brass Band, recording several albums with both ensembles. In addition to his own trio, Tom plays in B3B4, a jazz organ quartet, and frequently plays both tenor saxophone and clarinet with the Cottontails, as well as other early jazz and swing groups in the Bay Area.
