Freedom Sounds for the Liberated
This music is celebratory, exultant, joyous, urgent. In the moment compositions, as rarefied as air or the thoughts of those in communion with spirits up above. Listen to your life reflected in color frequency vibrations, low end theoretics and multi-directional polyrhythms.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Featuring talented and experienced Bay Area improvisers (David Boyce, Richard Howell, David Ewell and Sameer Gupta) impressively, everything in the music is uncharted each time The Supplicants perform. They preconceive nothing, except their collective approach to making music. The music of The Supplicants is entirely accessible and rhythmically swinging. Although the ensemble does not have a designated leader, their musical explorations, passing from one musician to another and through the entire ensemble, develop ideas collectively and are expressed through group interplay, rather than only in the lead instrument.
