DESCRIPTION:Following the success of Descarga for Monk\, Alex Conde\, John Santos\, and Jeff Chambers Trio present Descarga for Bud Powell\, a flamenco and Latin jazz tribute to the genius of American jazz pianist Bud Powell.\n \nFEATURING:\nAlex Conde – piano\nJohn Santos – percussion\nJeff Chambers – bass\n \nABOUT THE ARTIST:\nAlex Conde is a graduate in classical music from the Jose Iturbi Conservatory of Music and in jazz piano from el Liceu de Barcelona. He won a scholarship to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston\, where he received the Jazz Revelation Award and earned a degree in jazz performance in 2009\, as well as a master’s degree in piano jazz performance at the Aaron Copland Conservatory in New York City. Conde has performed on world-class stages such as Blue Note NY\, Panama Jazz Festival\, Eurojazz Mexico\, and PDX among others.
