$15 – $20Sarah Wilson brings her vibrant compositions to life with Fusebox, her explosive collaboration with top Bay Area musicians Rob Sudduth, John Schott, Jason Hoopes,and Jordan Glenn. Sarah’s years of writing music for performance, puppet theater, dance, animation, and film permeate her genre-twisting, critically-acclaimed compositions. Witness the igniting of multiple musical palettes, from syncopated and swinging rhythms to mesmerizing melodies and hypnotic hooks, as this wildly talented ensemble expertly navigates the intersection of jazz and pop.

More About Sarah:
Based in Oakland, CA, Wilson has emerged as “one of the most intriguing and promising composers and trumpeters on the contemporary music scene” (Derk Richardson, San Francisco Chronicle). Her original work has premiered nationally and internationally, earning numerous commissions including the prestigious Gerbode Composer Collaboration Award. In 2012, Sarah became an Artist Fellow at the de Young Museumand in 2010 and 2012, received highly acclaimed Center for Cultural Innovation Awards. Beyond these achievements, Wilson has earned a William and Flora Hewlett Foundation Honorary Fellowship, funding from the Zellerbach Family Foundation, East Bay Fund for Artists, de Young Museum Cultural Encounters Initiative in collaboration with Intersection for the Arts, and Meet the Composer’s MetLife Creative Connections program.
