Sarah Cabral: A Contemporary Approach to Brazilian Classics

Vocalist and songwriter Sarah Cabral shares in her debut EP a deep connection with Brazilian roots, showcasing contemporary and fresh rearrangements of Brazilian classics as well as original compositions by luminaries from the San Francisco Bay Area
From an in-your-face cover of Cobra Criada by the master João Bosco, to a dreamy original composition by Ian Faquini, Sarah’s music features many worlds in between. The project is assisted by the incredible talents of Alex Calatayud on percussions, Eva Scow on mandolin, Mike Taylor, Jeff Buenz and Ian Faquini on guitar, Nathan Guzman and Phil Thompson on drums, and Scott Thompson on bass.
