Rini: Dramatic Art-Rock and Indian Electronica

$15 – $20New York-based singer, composer, and violinist Rini comes to the Poppy with her cadre of international musicians, who draw inspiration from Indian classical music, electronica, art rock, and jazz, presenting groovy, pulsing music.

Harini “Rini” Raghavan has recorded and performed with Grammy-winning composer A.R. Rahman, headlined festivals in the U.S. and India, and performed as a soloist and core member of the Berklee Indian Ensemble. The South Indian musician’s two albums, Kural and Alone in the Blue, have garnered critical acclaim, including a feature in Rolling Stone India. She was ranked #1 world music band in New York City by The Deli NYC magazine in November 2016.
