After nearly a decade focusing on producing and playing drums for other artists, Bay Area maverick PC Muñoz returns as a songwriter/leader in 2016, with a new album of original songs, Echo, and a new duo with longtime guitarist/collaborator Marc Weibel. The evening will feature two sets of material ranging from angular, instrumental free-jazz deconstructions (SMASH) to stripped-down pop-influenced songs (HITS).

PC Muñoz is a musician and producer based in San Francisco. His body of work includes recordings across multiple mediums, from Grammy-nominated contemporary classical music to CMJ-charting funk songs to modern dance/multimedia productions. A frequent and enthusiastic collaborator, PC has recorded with rock legend Jackson Browne, dream-pop artist Ingrid Chavez, longtime Kronos Quartet cellist Joan Jeanrenaud, Oakland hip-hop artist Kev Choice, and countless other musicians and recording artists across a wide range of genres. He was a 2015 Dresher Ensemble artist-in-residence in Oakland, CA and a 2013 Loft Literary Center Equilibrium Fellow in Minneapolis, MN.

Featuring:
PC Muñoz – drums, vocals
Marc Weibel – electric guitar
