Max Minardi / Little Shrine: Melodic Storytelling & Folk-Pop

$15 – $20Singer-songwriter Max Minardi opens the show with folk songs reflecting his experiences and humorous stories on the road. Folk-pop trio Little Shrine then closes the night with music from their newly released mini-album, Wilderness, as well as several brand new tunes that have never been shared publicly. The songs, written by vocalist and bassist Jade Shipman, explore a rich, emotional landscape with thoughtful instrumentation from violinist Ryan Avery and guitarist Tony Schoenberg.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Max Minardi is a singer-songwriter based in Northern California. Blending influences from artists like Damien Rice, Iron & Wine, James Taylor, Ben Howard, and Paul Simon, his songs focus on evocative lyricism and enchanting acoustic guitar work with origins in American folk, indie, and roots music. Onstage, he engages audiences by telling stories of his time on the road and unveiling the inspiration and experiences that lead to his songs.

Little Shrine is a folk-pop trio whose music is spacious, organic, and hopeful. Based in San Francisco, the band’s sound is driven by melodies and pairs emotionally revealing lyrics with warm and sparse acoustic instrumentation. Little Shrine released an intimate, eight-song mini-album called Wilderness in October 2017.
