LIONESS: A Short Film Fundraiser
A Fundraising Event for a compelling film about courage and resilience
Join Us for the LIONESS Film Fundraiser Event sponsored by Aviva Arts! Set in 1977 Morocco, LIONESS tells the story of a young woman who coaches the town’s first girls’ soccer team, challenging tradition and inspiring her players to dream beyond their limits. This film is a powerful exploration of resilience, courage, and the transformative power of representation.
This fundraiser is dedicated to empowering young girls, reflecting the core theme of LIONESS. The event will feature live musical performances by my talented students—young girls whose energy, creativity, and spirit mirror the courageous characters in the film.
Enjoy an afternoon filled with food, drinks, and heartfelt performances, all while contributing to the creation of this impactful film.
Join us in bringing this story to life and celebrating the spirit of empowerment and ambition.
