Latin Jazz Youth Ensemble of San Francisco: The Next Generation of Latin Jazz Artists

$10 – $20Performing Latin jazz classics and original compositions, the Latin Jazz Youth Ensemble of San Francisco (LJYE) is comprised of talented musicians ages 10 to 18. The mission of LJYE is to preserve the traditions of Latin jazz and to create role models for aspiring student musicians. The group has recorded three CDs with original material composed by the students themselves, including LJYE Live at Yoshi’s (2005), Generaciones (2009), and Con Mis Manos (2015).

Admission: $10-20. Doors at 7:00pm. Show at 7:30pm. All ages welcome.
Tickets will not be sold in advance for this event. Please arrive at the Red Poppy when doors open to purchase tickets. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
