The Kilbanes, an Oakland-based, theatrical rock band, is the musical experiment of Kate Kilbane and Dan Moses, a songwriting duo (who happen to be married). The Kilbanes have created a performance style that blends the raucous energy of a rock show with the mesmerizing storytelling found in raw, experimental theater.
Voci Angelica Trio is an international band with members hailing from three continents. Listeners describe the music as “a haute folk sound that mesmerizes and enthralls.” Straddling the genres of world folk and classical music, the trio creates an ambitious blend of cultures in which vocal harmonies elegantly intertwine with lush cello lines and percussion to create a musical amalgamation that transcends political and geographic borders.
