Khmer Arts Salon

Developed as a prayer in movement for the deliverance of rain, renewal, and fertility, Khmer classical dance is an art form that is more than 1,000 years old. This intimate presentation of the Khmer Arts Salon Series features a program designed to introduce audiences to this venerable tradition. Led by Khmer Arts associate artistic director Prumsodun Ok, audiences will explore the dance’s history and vocabulary through lecture, demonstration, and live performance.
