Kat Morgan: Songs for Farewell and So Long

$10 – $20Drawing from folk and R&B traditions, Kat Morgan sings slow and powerful, metaphor-laced melodies about loving and living. Her Red Poppy debut promises to conjure moods from defiant to melancholic, from soppy sweet to broken and blue.

Kat Morgan’s soulful, honeyed voice has been compared to Amelia Meath of Sylvan Esso or Sharon Van Etten, and she has released two albums, Homegrown and Kam, both produced by Los Angeles-based artist Boas. Morgan, who has performed throughout the U.S. and in South America, has been featured on KPFA’s Full Circle and BFF Radio’s Astral Projection Radio Hour.
