Lyrically talented vocalist/composer, Derek Lassiter, makes his third appearance at Red Poppy Art House this June. With a soulful honesty, Lassiter’s upcoming release, Music Outside, contains songs that debuted to sold-out audiences at the Poppy. In this set Lassiter will present soothing songs from Music Outside as well as songs from his previous release, Witness, and covers from some of his favorite artist including, Abbey Lincoln, Nick Drake, and Luther Van Dross to name a few.
$12-20 admission. Doors at 8:30 pm. Show at 9:00 pm.
