Following the success of Descarga for Monk, Alex Conde, John Santos, and Jeff Chambers Trio present Descarga for Bud Powell, a flamenco and Latin jazz tribute to the genius of American jazz pianist Bud Powell.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Alex Conde is a graduate in classical music from the Jose Iturbi Conservatory of Music and in jazz piano from el Liceu de Barcelona. He won a scholarship to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he received the Jazz Revelation Award and earned a degree in jazz performance in 2009, as well as a master’s degree in piano jazz performance at the Aaron Copland Conservatory in New York City. Conde has performed on world-class stages such as Blue Note NY, Panama Jazz Festival, Eurojazz Mexico, and PDX among others. (Photo by: Tom Ehrlich)
