DESCRIPTION:  \nTaught by Todd Thomas Brown \n  \nAn exploration of how the painting process can become the visual documentation of our lives\, this 7-hour workshop employs the techniques of collage\, texture\, color\, and text to transform paintings into 3-dimensional objects reflecting both mundane and discreet aspects of our personal lives. \n  \n**Required Materials: \n– Three 12×18″ canvases \n– Charcoal\, rags\, and many mundane items for creating texture and collage (colored papers\, scraps\, photos\, phone bills\, love notes\, ticket stubs\, emails\, leaves\, grasses\, sand\, etc.) \n– All other painting materials provided (brushes\, paints\, etc.) \n  \nCost: $125 \n  \nLimited space: you must pre-register at: \nhttp://www.meetup.com/Painters-club-and-workshops-at-Studio-Teobi/events/109282572/ \n  \nAbout the instructor: Todd Thomas Brown is the Founding Artist of the Red Poppy Art House and a recent Artist Fellow of San Francisco’s de Young Museum.
