We started exploring German repertoire\, Schumann\, Schubert\, in Opera\, Puccini\, Verdi until we arrived at this style of South American art song. We fall in love with them\, new music from a new culture. Music that loves its Native American roots. Carnavalitos from Bolivia\, Tristes from Peruvian Incas\, Milongas from the Pampas\, and Tango Nuevo from Buenos Aires. The composers are Alberto Ginastera\, Carlos Guastavino\, Julian Aguirre\, and Astor Piazzolla.
