He leads the acclaimed modern tango ensemble Charles Gorczynski Tango Quartet and is the director of the Twin Cities Tango Collective. \nCharles has premiered his compositions at the Chamber Music Northwest Festival and the San Francisco International Arts Festival\, worked as faculty for Tango Sin Fin and Tanguero Workshop\, and is regularly commissioned for new works for tango chamber ensembles. As a bandoneonist\, he has worked with the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra\, Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra\, Chicago Chorale\, California Symphony\, Vocal Essence at Orchestra Hall\, Mason Bates’ Mercury Soul Orchestra\, and many other orchestral and chamber music organizations.
