DESCRIPTION:Advance tickets are available online. It is advised to purchase advance tickets for this event. If tickets sell out online\, tickets will not be available at the door. \n\n\n\n\nShadowLight Productions at the Art House!\nShadow Theater Performance and Hands-on shadow puppet workshop for Children and Families (FREE)\nShadowLight Productions artists Jessica Nguyen and Fred Riley will perform a shadow play based on a short story by children’s author Mo Williams and a short shadow play for a song by Charlotte Diamond. \nThe performance will then turn into a demonstration with an opportunity to see the behind the screen process of performing a shadow theater show with time to ask questions. \nShadowLight artists will lead participants in making a shadow puppet of their own and using it to tell a story or perform a song.\nPerformance screen\, lights and puppet making materials and tools provided by ShadowLight Productions. \nFeaturing Artists:\nFred C. Riley III- puppeteer\nJessica Nguyen- puppeteer\nI Made Moja- puppeteer \nThis event is free to the public.\nThis event is appropriate for children ages 3 to 12.\nAdmission on first come\, first served basis.\nDue to limited capacity\, RSVP is strongly recommended. \nSaturday\, May 20th\, 2023\nTime: 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm\nAdmission: FREE\nDonation is encouraged and appreciated \n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE ARTIST:  \n\n\nShadowLight was founded in 1972 by filmmaker/theatre director/shadow artist Larry Reed. We have served San Francisco as a non profit theater company for nearly 30 years. \nThe mission of ShadowLight Productions is to expose the general public to the art of Shadow Theater. The means of providing such exposure includes but is not limited to live theater\, film and other media.
