Choinard\nStacie Grey\nReese Hirsch\nDale Berry (emcee) \nMystery Writers of America NorCal Chapter is one of eleven regional chapters of the Mystery Writers of America\, the country’s oldest organization of professional mystery writers. Their goals are to promote the publication and discussion of mystery writing\, and to promote and maintain high standards in the writing\, publishing\, and production of mystery stories. She is the Co-founder and Director of Black Freighter Press\, a revolutionary press committed to the exploration of liberation\, using art to transform consciousness. Alie graduated with her MFA in Creative Writing and Literature from Mills College. She is the host of the podcast called Chit Chat with Aliecat\, a platform to explore self-care practices and journeys of self-love in the community. \n  \nSound healing: Simago \nSierra Gonzalez\, known as Simago\, is a versatile visionary leading Soul Speaks: Arts & Wellness Collective and The Sound of Soul L.L.C. Born & raised in the vibrant fusion of Chicago and California\, Simago draws deep inspiration from diverse communities that have profoundly shaped her creative journey. As Founder & CEO\, performing artist\, educator\, wellness activist\, sound healer\, rapper\, poet\, music producer\, and community organizer\, she wears many hats. \n  \nAja Lenae \n(they/them) (pronounced like “Asia”) is a multi-devotional bay area black\, queer\, gender-expansive artist and youth collaborator. they are interested in multi-artform storytelling as an act of bridging\, of swinging low and high\, liminality. the tributary offering of the pendulum swing\, and archival longing. sunning the hard thing softened. then asking their name. getting curious about what the land desires of us. Aja’s creative practice has grown in collaboration with spaces such as Radar Productions\, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive\, and Oakland Futures/the Center for Cultural Power. they are currently a teaching artist in East Bay 3rd and 4th-grade classrooms with the Museum of the African diaspora and are a member of QWOCMAP’s critical juncture program for black qt filmmakers. IG: @soulphonics \n  \nAïma the Dreamer \nis a multidisciplinary artist who has been performing creating\, and hosting events for more than a decade. They are co-founders of Oakland’s beloved Soulovely\, a QTBIPOC dance party launched in 2011. Aima has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for twenty years and continues to be inspired by the beauty and brilliance of the art\, music\, and activism that is fostered here. No stranger to collaboration\, they believe in the power of using art and music as a bridge between communities. Aima has rocked crowds from Oakland to Barcelona as a vocalist and emcee with groups such as Jazz Mafia and J-Boogie’s Dubtronic Science. They are currently with the music group Femme Deadly Venoms and have recently released their title track music video Femmenomenon. Follow them on IG\, FB\, & TikTok: @aimathedrmr. \n  \nJazz Hudson \nis an international Poet\, Artist\, and educator who serves a host of communities seeking transformation through art. With a holistic approach to content & development\, her interdisciplinary work engages audiences in dialogue and activism that extend beyond the page and stage. \n  \nIsabel Rose \nlives through the stories she’s previously been afraid to tell. She is a counselor\, daughter\, sister\, learner\, and avid fan of life. Outside of what people call productivity\, she is learning how to love\, create\, and be. \n  \nLadiRevolutionary (LadiRev) \nis an educator/spoken word artist from Bayview Hunters Point. Her poetry is a reflection of personal growth along with values learned from family and community. LadiRev is passionate about community\, education\, and healing. She is the host of Talkn Owt Da Side of Da Necc Podcast\, which focuses on individual healing practices. She is set to release her first book\, Heal\, in 2023. \n“It only takes one person to make a stand but it takes a community to make a change” LadiRev \n  \nMozell Ward \nmagically believes that our bodies hold untold stories\, stories that deserve reclamation. They’ve been playing with portals and writing spells ever since they could remember as a child. Poetry was medicine when verbally speaking caused Mozell anxiety and physical pain. They now use poetry as pleasure downloads from their Ancestors. Writing guides their dance\, mental health practice\, and embodiment praxis. Mozell loves open mics and giggles at her obsession with Def Poetry Jam back in the day. May your inner child come to light\, may you chuckle or even grin when Mozell shares tiny fragments of her soul with you. \n  \nABOUT LIT CRAWL SAN FRANSISCO\n  \nOne of the most anticipated literary nights of the year\, San Francisco’s Lit Crawl is a massive\, one-night literary pub crawl throughout the city’s Mission District. Lit Crawl SF brings together 500+ authors and close to 10\,000 fans for the world’s largest free pop-up literary event.
