Internationally acclaimed cellist and composer Ian Maksin narrating passages from the book and performing works from his last album inspire by Coelho’s work. \nPortion of the proceeds from ticket sales and merchandize will benefit FOR WELLBEING\, a non-profit organization that creates mobile medical units in areas of Ukraine most affected by war. \nFEATURING: \nIan Maksin – Cello \nThursday\, November 10th\, 2022\nTime: (First Show) 6:45pm doors\, 7pm show \nAdmission: (Online) $20-30 / (Door) $30-$35 general \n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE ARTIST: \n“Incredible musical journey in 30 languages” \n“Magical and healing cello vibrations” \nIan Maksin has created his own unique style by blending elements of different genres and traditional music from around the globe in a new way\, using his cello as the primary unifying force. Born in Leningrad in the former USSR\, he began playing guitar and piano at age 3 and cello at age 6 at the School for Gifted Children in Leningrad\, then came to the U.S. at 16 to continue studies at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. After working for many years in the classical genre\, including a three-year tenure with the New World Symphony in Miami\, he decided to look for his own musical path. His diverse musical experience\, including playing rock and blues guitar\, and passion for jazz and world music has allowed him to take the cello to a new dimension and develop his own distinct style as a musician and composer. \nPreview the Artist:  \n \nLearn more: Ian Maksin \n  \nCOVID-19 PRECAUTIONS\n\nMasks are required inside at all time.
