DESCRIPTION:Joshua Eden\n  \nGrab Bag Of Gritty Soul; Truth-Talking Troubadour For Troubled Times \n  \nSounds like Tom Waits and The Wood Brothers wrapped in a tortilla\, dipped in honey and served at the speakeasy – a feast of gritty soul that ranges from smoky blues to melancholy ballads to rowdy swing. Oscar’s fat bass notes  resonate with Joshua’s gravelly vocals as he recounts tales of the road\, drunken sailors\, emancipation\, love\, death\, promises and destiny. Joshua has composed and performed for theatre including several stints as musical director at NYC’s LaMama ETC. He creates soundtracks for The Nature Conservancy. His song “Eye of the Storm” won 2008 West Coast Songwriters Song of the Year. \n  \nJoshua Eden: guitar\, ukelele and vocals\nOscar Westesson: upright bass \n  \nJoshua Eden on Reverb Nation\nJoshua Eden on Facebook \n  \nRebecca Cross is a composer of electronic and acoustic music.
