Upright bassist Bret Higgins formed Atlas Revolt in 2013 as a vehicle for his original instrumental compositions, and the band’s self-titled debut, released on John Zorn’s Tzadik Records in 2015, has been met with glowing reviews. Based in Toronto, Higgins performs regularly with Canadian folk-rock groups Great Lake Swimmers, Beyond The Pale, Zebrina, and Ozere.
