Diana Gameros is a singer, guitarist, composer, music instructor and social activist. Originally from Ciudad Juarez, Gameros arrived in the Bay Area six years ago and since then she has been creating authentic, inspiring music that reflects the 21st century experiences of a young indie artist at the borderlands between cultures, languages, and genres.

After just a few years in the Bay Area, Gameros’ talent, versatility and ability to connect with her audience has brought her a steady stream of performances at such notable venues as Herbst Theater, Brava Theater, The Independent, The New Parish, Fox Theater, SFJAZZ Center and dozens of other venues small and large. She has opened concerts for Torreblanca, Latin Grammy-nominee Ximena Sariñana, Latin Grammy-winners La Santa Cecilia, and Bebel Gilberto.

In October 2014 Gameros received the Emerging Leader Award from the Latina/Chicana Foundation.
