Amanda Abizaid: Bridging East and West With Song

$15 – $20Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Amanda Abizaid makes her Red Poppy debut with an evening of sophisticated pop, lyrics for peace and equality, touches of her Lebanese heritage, and a special appearance by San Francisco pop band Anna Karney and Beautiful Losers.

Lebanese-American artist Amanda Abizaid, best known as the vocalist on the theme song “A Place In Time” from sci-fi show The 4400, released her latest EP, Walking In Twos, in support of HelpPhilippineSchools.org, a nonprofit organization that helps children get the best education possible through the betterment of existing schools. The project’s goal is to create a self- sufficient revenue stream using proceeds from the song’s downloads and streams to buy school supplies for the Aeta children of the Philippines.
