DESCRIPTION:Brian Andres returns to the Red Poppy to present original compositions and arrangements of classic jazz and Latin standards.\n \nFEATURING:\nBrian Andres – drumset\nChristian Tumalan – piano\nDavid Pinto – bass\n \nABOUT THE ARTISTS:\nDrummer Brian Andres leads the Latin jazz group the Afro-Cuban Jazz Cartel. The nucleus of that ensemble is the trio\, featuring Grammy Award-winning musicians Christian Tumalan on piano and David Pinto on bass. As they have with the larger ensemble\, the trio exerts a firm grip on the music’s cutting edge\, playing with confidence\, poise\, and rhythmic imagination.
