DESCRIPTION:Puja Kapur is a mixed-media artist\, member of the Red Poppy’s Leadership Team\, chef\, and Silicon Valley’s 2016 Woman of Influence. In collaboration with celebrated chef Afreen Wahab\, Kapur embarks on a culinary journey\, honoring their mothers and their culinary passions. Kapur seeks to bring in the culinary arts as a part of the Red Poppy’s interdisciplinary program offerings. \nThis inaugural dinner is a curated offering in culinary\, performing\, and visual art. The menu is a thoughtful synergy of seasonal fresh ingredients culled in the Bay Area with dishes prepared using South Asian spices and traditional techniques with a contemporary approach.
