A mainstay on the art scene\, Lassiter has performed at many venues and counts the Red Poppy Art House among his favorites. Rooted in jazz and soul\, his influences run the gamut from Abbey Lincoln\, Jimmy Scott\, and Shirley Horn to Luther Vandross\, Sting\, Solange\, and Bjork.
