SUMMARY:Maracujá: A Musical Journey Around Latin America
DESCRIPTION:Vocalist/multi instrumentalist Caitlin Belem and guitarist Terrence Rosnagle take you on a trip through Latin America\, playing music from Brazil to Cuba and everywhere in between – samba\, bossa nova\, cumbia\, son\, and more. It’ll be a Saturday night for listeners and dancers. \nFeaturing:\nCaitlin Belem – vocals\, saxophone\, guitar\, fiddle\, hand percussion\nTerrence Rosnagle – guitar \nCaitlin Belem grew up in a house full of music in Northern Wyoming\, fell in love with the fiddle at a young age\, and eventually learned to sing and play saxophone and guitar. She has explored many genres\, from Brazilian bossa nova and samba\, to Cuban son\, to American jazz\, blues\, and swing. \nInitially inspired to play guitar by Delta blues\, Terrence Rosnagle moved to Spain to study and play flamenco guitar\, to Istanbul to study oud and Turkish music\, and then to South America\, where he soaked up folkloric and Brazilian guitar styles. \nLearn more: Website | Facebook | YouTube\n  \nEVENT DETAILS\n \nTime: Doors 7:00PM / Show 7:30PM\nAdmission: $15-20 sliding scale\nTickets will not be sold in advance for this event – please arrive at the Red Poppy when doors open to purchase tickets.
