DESCRIPTION:Drawing on their strong musical friendship and shared love of Romani music\, Eva Salina & Peter Stan create an inviting\, intimate space where mournful contemplation nestles amongst songs of riotous joy. \nFeaturing:\nEva Salina – vocals\nPeter Stan – accordion \nSanta Cruz native Eva Salina is an internationally recognized interpreter of Balkan song traditions. A remarkable performer and devoted educator\, she has spent the last three years immersed in the Šaban Bajramović songbook. Based in Brooklyn\, Eva has been collaborating with Serbian/Romanian accordionist Peter Stan for the last 12 years. \nPhoto: Deborah Feingold\n \n \n\nAdmission: $15-20. Doors at 7:00pm.
