Backed by a skilled and dynamic group of musicians\, Nick creates a distinctly rich chamber pop sound in his performances. \nNick Hours is an insightful and ambitious singer-songwriter based in Oakland\, CA. Also an accomplished composer for the stage\, Nick’s songwriting is mature\, playful\, and highly atmospheric. Combining poetic lyricism with inspired musicianship and a mixture of classical and jazz instrumentation\, his heartfelt music hits deep with a rare sincerity. \nFeaturing:\nNick Rattray (Nick Hours) – vocals\nCristina de Leon – violin\nTim Silva – drums\, vocals\nJary Niebur – guitar\, vocals\nTravis Kindred – bass\n \nAbout Derek Lassiter:\nLassiter\, a mainstay on the San Francisco arts scene\, has received accolades for both his recordings and live performances featuring Bay Area notables such as pianist/composer Tammy Hall\, producer/percussionist PC Muñoz\, and composer/pianist Art Khu.
