DESCRIPTION:Taking the audience through the streets of Old Havana\, Tito Gonzalez returns to the Red Poppy for a night of vibrant tunes with Cuban son and the tres guitar.\n \nSinger/composer Tito Gonzalez is a master showman with a voice that has been compared to that of classic son singer\, Daniel Santos. Gonzalez delivers songs that are deceptively simple – between their fluid melodies and retrograde rhythms\, they evoke a focus and introspection that Tito attributes\, in part\, to his life in America. Along with son\, his music demonstrates a broad range of Cuban genres such as rumba\, guaracha and the most romantic boleros.\n\n \nFeaturing:\nTito Gonzalez – lead vocals\, guitar\, tres guitar\n(more musicians TBA)\n\n\nAdmission: $15-20. Doors at 7:00pm. Show at 7:30pm. All ages welcome. \nTickets will not be sold in advance for this event.
