DESCRIPTION:Performing material from their new album “here/there”\, the Adam Shulman Sextet’s compositions paint an aural vignette of people and places in the Bay Area jazz scene.\n\nAdam Shulman has been a staple of the Bay Area jazz scene since his move in 2002. In addition to leading his own trio and sextet\, he has played as a sideman with internationally-renowned artists such as Stefon Harris\, Willie Jones III\, Miguel Zenon\, Mark Murphy\, Luciana Souza\, Paula West\, Larry Coryell\, Sean Jones\, Grant Stewart and Bobby Hutcherson.\n\n\n\nAdam Shulman Sextet:\nErik Jekabson – trumpet\nPatrick Wolff – alto saxophone\nRob Roth – tenor saxophone\nJohn Wiitala – bass\nSmith Dobson – drums\nAdam Shulman – piano \nLearn more about Adam here. \nAdmission: $10-15.
