DESCRIPTION:Alex Conde is an internationally renowned pianist and Spanish native who has a versatile background stemming from classical\, jazz\, and Spanish religious folklore. Beginning his career in Boston as a composer\, Conde released his first album entitled\, “Jazz and Claps”\, which included guest artists from around the world\, and received considerable praise. Now residing in the Bay area\, Conde collaborates with top Flamenco companies in San Francisco such as the “Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco”\, all the while being an active force within various solo projects\, and always exuding his unique alluring sound. \nExpect to hear sounds originating from the religious folklore and musical heritage of the Spanish 15th Century\, as well as the gypsy-flamenco styles created in Al-Andalus\, in this very unique and pleasantly intimate concert/lecture with guest artist Shanin Gorgani. \n“Alex Conde’s music has an endless virtuosism\, dedication\, and passion” – Ruben Blades \, at the Panama Jazz Festival\, January 2008 \nListen to Alex Conde \nView the official Facebook event \nAdmission: $15-20.
