DESCRIPTION:Ensemble Mik Nawooj returns to the Red Poppy to present C.R.E.A.M.\, Shame on a Nigga and Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nothing ta Fuck Wit from Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)\, and Gin & Juice from Doggystyle. This concert continues their Artist Residency in which EMN will do a partial premiere of a 6 piece commission for Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. EMN music director\, composer\, and pianist JooWan Kim will re-imagine 6 classic hip-hop songs from 1993 for YBCA’s “Clas/sick Hiphop II: 93’ Til” celebration in November. Vocalist\, composer\, and Los Angeles native\, Tiffany possesses a soulful and subtle delivery\, has graced the stages of SFJAZZ\, the Healdsburg Jazz Festival\, and the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival. \nGet a pre-show taste of Ensemble Mik Nawooj\, as well as Tiffany \n  \nAdmission: $10-15.
