DESCRIPTION:  \nMosh Pit: American Dances for 20 Fingers \n  \nSince joining forces as an ensemble in 2009\, internationally acclaimed pianists Eva-Maria Zimmermann and Keisuke Nakagoshi – ZOFO – have electrified audiences from Carnegie Hall to Osaka Japan with their dazzling artistry and outside-the-box thematic programming for one-piano-four-hands. \n  \nThis prize winning duo has blazed a bold new path by focusing on 20th and 21st century repertoire and commissioning new works. ZOFO’s first album MIND MELD\, released in 2012 with Sono Luminus Records\, was nominated for a Grammy Award for best Performance in Chamber Music. \n  \nZOFO’s new recording – MOSH PIT – features adrenalized dance-themed works by Gershwin\, Corigliano\, Barber\, Shawn\, Nancarrow and Schoenfield. \n  \nKeisuke Nakagoshi and Eva-Maria Zimmermann\, one piano \n  \n“…jaw-dropping awesome” San Francisco Examiner \n  \nZofoduet.com\nZOFO on Facebook.com \n  \nAdmission: $20\, includes food and a MOSH PIT CD.
