With influences ranging from Marvin Gaye to Suzanne Vega\, Wu-Tang\, Yasmin Levy and Balkan Beat Box\, Idana blends styles into surprising\, uplifting sounds seasoned with passionate longing and hope. \n  \nThis spring she releases her neo-soul EP Deeper than Skin produced by Jordan Feinstein\, and is featured on Women in Dub by Dubblestandart\, backing band for Lee “Scratch” Perry.
