DESCRIPTION:After a resoundingly successful first event last month\, SoupSF is back for a second round. Join us for the highly anticipated follow up and watch amazing projects receive the funds they deserve! \nDesigned to use community-driven financial support to democratically fund new and emerging projects\, SoupSF is inspired by successful precursors such as Chicago INCUBATE’s Sunday Soup and Brooklyn’s FEAST. \nThe idea: 1) $15 donation gets you soup and a vote. 2) Three teams present projects to benefit the community. 3) Attendees vote to grant the proceeds from the meal to the most inspiring and promising project. \nMaybe you’re starting a community garden or farmer’s market. Or you’re a muralist with a vision for a decrepit wall. Or maybe you’re building an installation or pop-up art experience. If it makes the community a happier place\, it can get funded ($300-$500) at SOUP SF.
