DESCRIPTION:In coordination with the Red Poppy Art House\, the Alliance for California Traditional Arts (ACTA) presents: \nLa Mesa: “How do I know what is beautiful? An Exploration of Differing Aesthetics from the Traditional Arts Point of View” \nWhat is necessary to understand about culturally specific forms to appreciate them? What is valued as beauty in form? Smooth lines over rough texture? Color choices? Flat feet vs. pointed toe?  Falsetto singing? Three artists/organizations will share their art forms to address the culturally specific “”through lines” that most people may not be aware of.
