ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Mizuho Sato was born in Japan and started classical ballet at the age of three, performing on stage and winning balletic competitions. She encountered flamenco in Tokyo when entering university, which led her to study the art form with the great masters in Spain. In 2004, she relocated to Los Angeles and started teaching and performing. Sato was featured in Forever Flamenco at the Ford, the L.A. flamenco documentary Kumpanía directed by Katina Dunn, motion capture for Puss in Boots, and more. She moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2015 and loves to educate and inspire the world.
