The Family Art Program of the Red Poppy Art House proudly participates in the outstanding bimonthly arts festival the Mission Arts & Performance Project (MAPP). Each alternating first Saturday of the month, Family Art expands upon its usual afternoon activities from 1-4pm and reaches even deeper into the Mission community. The families, youth and volunteers are encourage to partake in the organizational process, curating, presenting and, of course, performing!

Perform at Family MAPP!
The Family Art Program seeks one committed artist/educator to lead artistic interactive performances geared towards children, youth and families on a bi-monthly basis during the Mission Arts Performance Project. (link to MAPP WEBSITE)
We are looking for someone who is committed to community transformation through the performing arts and can demonstrate experience with community organizing and arts education for children, youth and families.

Submit brief proposal of their ideas for the interactive performance.
Attend the MAPP meetings on Monday evenings prior to MAPP to confirm their performance is included in the MAPP program.
Promote their performance at the Red Poppy Art House to their wider community.
RSVP before coming to a show to ensure their tickets.
