Baltimore band Ultrafaux performs original music with musette, swing manouche, funk, blues, and Dixieland influences. The band is an acoustic powerhouse of Sami Arefin and Michael Joseph Harris trading dazzling leads on guitar and Eddie Hrybyk on upright bass who brings his passion for improvisation to the group. Ultrafaux’s song Latcho Dromo from their 2014 release was chosen to be featured on Django Festival #9, an international compilation of Django Reinhardt-inspired music by legendary producer Jon Larsen in Norway.

Accordionist Rob Reich is quintessentially what makes the San Francisco music scene a vibrant and vital mecca for independent music; he’s become one of its stalwart underground artists. His music combines strong melodic ideas, rhythmic drive, and a spirit of irreverence and experimentation. Reich is best known for his work with Tin Hat, Gaucho, and Circus Bella.
