Tiffany Austin & Alex Conde: Flamenco Meets the Blues (Double Show!)

Bay Area blues singer Tiffany Austin partners up with Spanish flamenco jazz pianist Alex Conde for an evening of blues, jazz, and piano flamenco exploration.

Tiffany Austin‘s much-anticipated debut recording, Nothing But Soul, has received a warm reception from audiences and critics alike, including a four-star DownBeat Magazine review, a feature on NPR’s Fresh Air radio program, and inclusion on KQED’s Top 10 Bay Area Jazz Releases of 2015 list. She has also been featured in publications such as the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Jose Mercury News, and Oakland Magazine.

Spanish pianist Alex Conde, a student of Danilo Pérez and Chano Dominguez, carves a distinct musical path through bebop language and Andalusian rhythms. His latest release, Descarga for Monk (2015), placed Conde on the best-album lists of prestigious international publications such as DownBeat, All About Jazz, Cadence, and Latin Jazz Network.
