Original Jazz, Sultry Blues, and Chamber Sounds
Where Charles Mingus meets Doris Day, resident artists Camille Mai, Nahuel Bronzini, and Schuyler Karr kick off their first West Coast tour as The View from Bernal Hill. On the menu: mouthwatering harmonies, eccentric rhythms, and savory new songs straight out of the sonic oven. Hailing from Paris, Buenos Aires, and Seattle, the three musicians united in San Francisco in 2012, releasing their first EP, “We Are No Beautiful Children,” at the Red Poppy last December. Featuring local musicians and performance artists, the trio’s performance will combine the raw spontaneity of jazz improvisation with the energy of rock and the subtle presence of chamber music, resulting in a gripping night not to be missed!
